Eastgate House, Rochester’s magnificent Tudor mansion was built in 1590, when Queen Elizabeth I ruled England and William Shakespeare wrote his first plays. You’re invited to take your seat in the magnificent Grand Reception Room to hear a selection of beautiful music from the period, performed live by historic music ensemble Archaedium. You can also learn about the musical instruments of the time too.
